Azerbaijan's first FRC robotics team — taken to the global stage of FIRST Robotics Competition.
FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is the world's largest high-school robotics league — over 3,000 teams from more than 30 countries build industrial-scale robots in six weeks and compete on a global stage. Qarabağ MecHack 9030 is the first team from Azerbaijan to enter it.
As Science Research, Strategy & Safety Lead in the 2026 season, Farah spearheaded data-driven research to guide engineering decisions — using rigorous testing and match analysis to enhance robot performance. Her evidence-based strategic calls under tight time constraints had a direct impact on the team's overall success. Beyond the technical side, she developed and led specialized first aid and safety workshops to keep the team prepared, and delivered professional technical presentations to judges that were a source of pride for the entire team.

A team-wide award presented to Qarabağ MecHack 9030 for embodying the spirit of FIRST. Farah contributed to this recognition through her safety leadership, dedication to her teammates, and her positive impact on the team's culture throughout the season.
FRC isn't only about robotics. It's mechanical, electrical, software, business, outreach, and research all running at once. Farah's role spanned research strategy, real-time match analysis, safety operations, and judge presentations — the science and safety behind the build.
Robotics, research, and a flag the team carries to the world stage.
